Aarushi is a 25 year old Wattpader, crazily in love with THE HARRY STYLES.
What happens when a dare from her two best friends forces her to send a dm to her long-time crush? Does he respond? Does she get her happy ending? How does everyone around her react to the situation?
"It Started With A DM" is a Harry Styles fanfic, where a normal Indian girl, settled abroad, narrates to you how her life turned out to be because of a single DM.
___________________________________________________________________
This is my 1st fanfic, so I'll try my best. There might be some major differences from the current reality, as I might not mention some stuff about Harry's life that won't be necessary for the story. Therefore, this is my AU, and I guess that's allowed.
You will find a lot of friendship moments, fluff, maybe even angst (I'm not sure yet myself), but lemme warn you, there will be NO SMUT. There might be slight indications of it, but nothing in details at all. So if you are looking for it, this is not for you, I'm sorry!
The beginning is based off a prompt for the ONC India, 2021... So, some ideas might not be liked by most (including me LOL)... Please ignore them, and continue reading, because topics which my readers and I am uncomfortable with will not be mentioned again, and I will edit them ONLY IF THE STORY PERMITS!
If you don't like a chapter, PLEASE don't write hate comments. I will accept your reviews, but you know some kindness is expected...

DUALITY - the sequel to IT'S YOU! [Mature] *Please note: There will be spoilers for the first book from below onwards... You don't necessarily need to have read and finished IT'S YOU to understand DUALITY, but it will be more rewarding if you do. If you want a refresher, there's an index at the end of that book, summarising each chapter and the subsequent one shots too. Despite all the challenges, Harry and Eloise have had their busiest couple of years to date. With new movies, tours, an album, a beauty brand, writing, promotion, and - not least - parenthood, they've had a lot to contend with throughout the pandemic. Working together on one truly iconic project was supposed to help bring them closer, not risk bringing them to breaking point. Trying to balance their professional and personal lives is already hard enough when it's all played out in the public eye, but it proves harder still when the storyline seems to start blurring between the two. Pressure, competition, jealousy, coercion, manipulation, deception, guilt... With such high stakes, it's hard to know who to trust, especially when things turn out to be not quite what they seem. In the eye of the storm, it can be hard to keep a grasp on what's real, and what really matters, after all. Please note: This is intended as an exercise in character development and descriptive writing. Harry features heavily - because he's incredibly charismatic and so talented - but I will be mindful to be as respectful as possible. Disclaimers: Contains mature content! And I have no links to Harry, nor any of his associates, nor to Bond or any of the other familiar names mentioned. I'm just borrowing him and them as familiar points of reference for not-for-profit artistic license.Complete

I breathe in, surprised by the delicacy of his touch. Suddenly, I feel his thumbs trace underneath my jaw only to direct my head to tilt up. "Just because your fuck of a boyfriend couldn't appreciate you, doesn't mean nobody else would. If you think that, then you're full of shit." "I-I don't think that," I tell him and I can feel it getting harder to breathe in the elevator shaft. "Then what's the problem, angel?" Notes: Wrote this when didn't even know what writing meant. As you know, that English isn't my first language. The book needs editing. There are probably bunch of mistakes like, wrong use of words, grammatical error and even plot holes. Don't come for my neck. Just trying to express my emotions through writing. [START : 21 JULY, 2020] [COMPLETE : 19 AUGUST, 2023] #1 in murder #1 in Possessive He kissed me back with urgency, at last pulling my bottom lip between his teeth, ridding his cock as hard as he could. Next he attached his mouth with my breasts, sucking them like his favourite candy while sinking his teeth on my flesh with possession. "I am obsessed with you." He groaned, kissing my neck as suddenly tears commenced to gather in my eyes. I didn't want to hear that from him, all I want to know is, he loves me. But that never came from his mouth. All he said is I mean a lot to him and he is obsessed. I sniffed closing my eyes tightly as my lower stomach tightened into a sharp knot. Venessa Erza is a beautiful and established woman who was leading a simple and plain lifestyle which a normal girl would wanted to have. She is satisfied with her job and being an editor in a publishing company is a perfect job for her. But the table of her life turned when her father out of blue arranged her matrimony with the heir of Styles's family. Who was alluring with his god gifted enchanted beauty and mesmerising green eyes. If his parents named him after Eros, then they wouldn't have been wrong. He was like a magnate around women, any woman could fall in love with his only single glance as if his eyes could do a hypnotic magic spell on them. Like those women, Venessa was also enthralled by her soon to be husband. But she didn't know, she was in darkness of lies before her lifetime bond with this Styles son. She didn't know that her husband wasn't normal like the other men as she was tied up with his life and became Mrs Styles of The Styles Mansion.Complete![Rising Stars [H.S]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/242397670-256-k151253.jpg)
Rising Stars [H.S]
'The arena was huge. I mean, I knew this girl was famous, but this is as big as the stadiums I would play in during my One Direction days, and those were fucking enormous. I look out the window of the tented black vehicle I was in and see the hundreds of thousands of fans waiting outside, all dressed in skirts or dresses for the big event. "I told you Harry, this girl is huge." Frank speaks up from beside me, snapping me out of my stare. "I didn't have to come to one of her fucking shows to know that. I don't even know why I'm here." I mumble, rolling my eyes and looking out the window at the road that was moving fast beneath us. I didn't even want to be here, and if I am being honest I didn't even want to work with her. Yeah, her music is good and all, but she seems like fucking priss. I've watched a couple of her interviews, and she seems boring as hell. Sure, she's hot as fuck, but she does not seem like my type at all. "Because, you're going to be working with her for a while, Harry. Plus if this whole thing works out as planned, you're going to want to get to know her." He reminds me, winking.' ~~~~~~ It's hard to fall in love when the whole world is watching you. My Ex-Stepfather
Harry Styles isn't my father, he's my stepfather. Well ex-stepfather. My mother married him when I was 18, she was 36 and he was 20. Totally gross right? Little did I know that she was already knocked up when they got married. They were a happy little family while I was living with my ACTUAL father and going to college. Two years later, my mother left Harry for a man even younger then him and took him to the cleaners. She got full custody, child support and spousal support to pay the way of her and her new boy toy while Harry had to give her his house and move into a small apartment. It's been three years since the divorce my mother wants me to come back for her wedding, the wedding Harry paid for. I felt terrible for Harry but I was too ashamed of my own mother to reach out. But now she's left me no choice because he's the only one that can help me. Will he even answer the phone? I haven't talked to him in almost four years, I don't know what state he's in having his son ripped from him or all of his hard earned money taken away. All I know is that I'm at his doorstep and he's about to get the surprise of his life. ______________ ⚠️ Will contain an assload of foul language as well as sexual content. While some names may be real this is an alternative reality based story that is 100% mine.Complete

Will they confront their pasts, support one another to heal, or will those same pasts continue to haunt them, destroying their future? What will happen when the ghosts of their pasts suddenly resurface? Will they face their fears or crumble under their weight? Will they fight the nightmares that torment them, or allow them to control their lives? Will they find the courage to fight for true love, or will they become prisoners of their own obsessions?
