Anneli pulled her hand back in fear, stuffing it into her pajama pocket. Just as she was about to ask to dogs what was wrong, an arm wrapped around her waist from behind her and pulled her into someone. A short yelp managed to escape her lips, in response the dogs barked. A cold sharp knife pressed against her throat suddenly.
"Don't make a sound," a dark voice whispered into her ear. Hot breath tickled her cheek and made her stomach flip. She was completely frozen, and completely vulnerable.
