She was reduced to nothing but a puppet. She wanted nothing more than her typewriter and a life of peace after getting married to her damned fiancé. She was mentally prepared for everything until he came along. 

He was a quiet form of destruction. Who knew that when he set foot into that party that fateful night, he came with a plan that would change everything. He would liberate her and save her from her planned and pathetic fate. 

Maya Herrera was reluctantly ready for the next few months of her life. Wedding dresses, cake taste testing, guest lists, the whole show. Although now it was hard to see that happening any time soon. Especially after her ex-fiancé just smashed her boyfriend's (?) car window out of anger. 

"Get the fuck out! Both of you!" He heaved from the other side of the slightly cracked glass. Liam only smiled at the man behind the window. "I'm afraid we can't. But the police is right there to keep you company, Ashton."

He had his personal body guard arrive at my door, and I wouldn't be too surprised as to how he got my address. The scary man was ready to drag me from my house, I was driven to his private Aircraft and now I had to play hostess. When he stepped out of the car, his eyes looked up to me. Had he smiled or even acknowledged my presence, maybe I would be free to assume that he was happy to see me.
