After a series of unlikely events at Summer in the City, 21 year old Grace ends up with a Tweet and a Tumblr follow from Dan Howell. When she accidently meets him again, soon after, a friendship quickly forms. Being a collage dropout, she had always been confused about her life and future, but after meeting new people from YouTube, her life begins to gain direction, and one day she finds herself sitting in front of a camera.
The rise to YouTube fame and stardom was far from what she expected, but Grace is happier than ever, and as her feelings begin to change toward a certain boy, nothing could be better, and she's in love with what her life has become.
One cold, dark night in London, mistakes are made, and in seconds the fairytale is shattered, Grace wakes up in hospital, unable to even remember her own name. Reality is harsh, she quickly learns, and nothing lasts forever.
Rebuilding her life will be the hardest thing she's ever done, but maybe, just maybe, something will trigger the memories to come flooding back.
