Abbie is a cyber-security specialist who loves being the girl-in-the-(swivel)-chair. It feels safe and comfortable.

But she feels neither when she crawls out of a car wreck in the middle of nowhere, unable to recall the last five years of her life. She has a mysterious message on her phone and a timer counting down to Lord-knows-what.

Also, there's an unconscious man in the car, carrying an ID card which calls him Elias.

Just when things can't get any weirder, a man shows up with a gun, hell-bent on killing both of them. In a split second, Abbie abandons Elias to save her life.

But shivering in the middle of the road in a stolen car, Abbie must make a choice. She can either drive away, never knowing what the timer counts down to, or risk her life to save Elias, who could have all the answers.

Although the planet has liquid water and a breathable atmosphere, it is believed to host only microbial life. However, upon arriving, Shawn and the rest of the colonists learn that assumption was grossly incorrect. In a brutal attack from rampaging wildlife, everyone but Shawn and four other colonists are killed. The five survivors retreat to the cavernous network beneath the ground seeking safety, but they soon come to a terrible discovery. These caves aren't ordinary caves, and they are no safer down under than they were on the surface.
