Sixteen year old Belle Peters has never had people she can trust, not even her twin sister, and eventually, at thirteen, something bad happened and she refused to trust people.
When a woman finds her and tells her she's a fairy, she doesn't know what to think, but she does know that she's willing to learn if it'll help her find her destiny, and maybe even a little bit of happiness.
