This story takes place small in a small town named duskwood, a young collage student from out of town comes to town for a vacation. As she is roaming the town she ends up overhearing a conversation that she wasn't supposed to hear, a girl has gone missing and her boyfriend is a suspect in regarding her disappearance. A few days go past after the collage student had heard that conversation, she ends up running into sharp-tongued hacker who is searching for the missing girl where she later learns the missing girl's name is Hannah baker. The hacker gives her two choices either help him find Hannah or go to jail for interfering with police cases. Will she go to jail or will she help this mysterious hacker find Hannah?

(Duskwood with alternate ending) Willow and Jake love to drive each other crazy and the fact that they are chasing a masked madman doesn't seem to stand in the way. But will they be able to find Hannah? They should watch their backs, because soon things can get deadly. Or hilarious. Or both! -------------------- I tried to balance the story between thriller/mystery and comedy, I really wanted to do a little lighter and funnier (yet still serious) version of Duskwood, answering the questions that were left open along the way. The story begins at the beginning of 9th episode, right after Jessy's and Thomas' visit at Michael Hanson's house. I'm following the game plot a little, but then things will change drastically. (Little additional info for you: English is my second language and I'm constantly correcting any mistakes I can find, so if you see anything out of place, feel free to let me know.) Please note that this book is rated 18+ and contains content suitable for mature audiences. Appropriate trigger warnings are included, and most intimate scenes are skippable. These names were strangers only moments ago and now resonated with a strange urgency. "We need to ask, How do you know Hannah Donfort?" Madisyn hesitated. She was about to send another dismissive reply, but a flicker of... something... stopped her. Boredom? Curiosity? A subconscious yearning for something more? "I don't know anyone named Hannah," she typed adding a question mark at the end, unsure why she was even bothering. The next text chilled her blood: "Hannah's my girlfriend and she disappeared. Three days ago to be exact." And so began Madisyn's unwanted adventure. She couldn't shake the feeling that she was somehow connected to this Hannah, these people, this desperate plea. Madisyn's heart hammered. Worried texts, Hannah's disappearance, Madisyn's phone number on Hannah's phone... it all pointed to something far more sinister than a simple misunderstanding. The search led her down dark alleys and into smoky bars. She faced threats, endured intimidation, and felt the cold grip of fear more times than she could count. She had discovered that even in the most ordinary of lives, there was the potential for extraordinary courage, love, and power to make a difference. And it all started with the wrong number.
