What happens when your hero isn't there to save you? You pray to a God that isn't there and you hope for a miracle. Sometimes you just don't realize that the miracle is what you are running from, what you are scared of.
Renae was just going into senior year of high school with a bright future ahead of her. Straight As, main character in every school play, varsity cheerleader. She has the whole world im her grip. Until a senior party throws her into the arms of the wrong man.
Lex is a young man with a prosperous business. A booming nightclub, and a couple "side businesses" here and there, he's living the dream. Young woman, booze, and rock and roll. What more could a bachelor want in the world?
All Lydia wanted was too be remembered. But now she can't remember anything. Locked up until she is 18 in the state penitentiary is the only part of her life that she could remember. Why she's there, who her brother is, even her name would be a mystery if she hadn't been told. How do you get better, if you don't even know how you are sick?

This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story.
