Renae was just going into senior year of high school with a bright future ahead of her. Straight As, main character in every school play, varsity cheerleader. She has the whole world im her grip. Until a senior party throws her into the arms of the wrong man. 
Lex is a young man with a prosperous business.  A booming nightclub, and a couple "side businesses" here and there, he's living the dream. Young woman, booze, and rock and roll. What more could a bachelor want in the world? 
All Lydia wanted was too be remembered.  But now she can't remember anything. Locked up until she is 18 in the state penitentiary is the only part of her life that she could remember. Her life changes, she changes back into her old self. She comes out of her shell, her mind shifting off all the stressful times, and past times, and focuses on this new guy in her life. A guy she desperately wants to keep, but wants to also keep safe. They go through twists and turns, but in the end, doesn't happiness always win?
