"Darling, I need you to do something for mommy okay?" Her cheeks glistened with the moisture of her tears.
Why was mommy crying?
"Okay mommy, what is it?" I only wanted her to stop crying. I would do anything for that. I hate it when she's sad, then I'm sad too.
"Get in the closet." She said firmly, holding me now close to her chest. I could hear the rush of her heart beat and it seemed to anchor me to the spot.
