It was the early hours of the morning, a little foggy when I woke up a while ago. I admit i am not an early riser not most of the part of the year but in times when I am sleeping early and not staying up late for writing. It has been five hours since then and i found everyone sleeping, a sleep so deep i could hardly explain it. It was going all fine until I came out and saw our worker Zaheer sleeping on the pavement outside in the lawn. I had seen this in movies and stories where the whole town sleeps because of a curse caused by evil witches but in the real world such things did not exist. It had been another day, it was supposed to be another fine and wonderful day after my sister's wedding and today was the grand dinner. The guests who had stayed were carefully nestled in their sleep lodgings in all corners of my house except for him. i was struck by something heavy in my head as i curled the shawl around my shoulders, standing in the lawn after checking on everyone in the house. He came outside the door, with an expression on his face that only I could understand. He was the only one who was wide awake apart from me or so I knew by then.
