Anathema

Mercy is a demon, and when you live in Rickton, that makes you a tool for the hand of the Father. Through his guidance, you are purified, and eventually your service will reap the ultimate reward- Heaven.

Mercy hasn't believed that for a couple years now, but there's not much it can do about the increasing number of executions the Father is performing beyond town walls or the unwanted attention beginning to fall at its feet.

Not before it meets Pat and Jim, a pair of killers who could be Mercy's key to removing the Father... so long as it doesn't turn them in for their crimes.

As tension begins to build both in the town and in Mercy's life itself, though, how long will it be able to keep Reggie and Ernie in line, and even more, will it even want to?
