"I was conceived during a one night stand." 6 months after the Battle of New York, Tony Stark has spent all his rime building dozens of new powered suits, trinkets and gadgets, mostly for Emma Stark, because he is paranoid that she'd be kidnapped again. It was clear that the events of New York had left Tony with severe PTSD and anxiety, but the events didn't effect Emma as much anymore because she had Pepper Potts to help her.
