The Legend Endures: The Timetraveler

I have lived a thousand lives.
Those lives have been spent fighting evil.
This evil was started by another,
But has yet to finish.
And so, I have yet to finish.
My journey has not come to an end,
But, despite this,
I still feel somewhat at peace,
Because,
While I, the hero, may die,
My legend endures.
You know me as the green hero,
The savior,
The courageous one,
And as friend.
This is a tale in which I
Learn who, what, I am.
This is a tale of adventure.
This is a tale of courage,
The guts to never back down,
And sacrifices.
This is a tale of legend.
And I am the chosen hero.
