Seventeen-year-old Ethan Palmer has no future, no reason to keep going. Ethan soon realizes that there is a darker evil wreaking havoc through town, playing with the lives of his friends and family. The forest holds arcane secrets and the future he didn't think he had takes place in a world where even immortal faye have something to run from. There's a deadly ancient storm brewing over Whitefish and everyone is taking cover. He least expects Fox to tie himself to him, to find friendship in a strange inhuman boy-boundary issues and all-as he lay trapped between an otherworldly fight and the afflictions of his own mind.All Rights Reserved

Leo Malone makes Ethan feel things he's never felt for another guy. Leo's sweet, patient, and understanding, the only problem is, he's a guy. Ethan tries to ignore the fact that his heart flutters every time he sees Leo, or that he can't ever stop thinking about him; but if having cancer has taught him one thing, it's that, "You have to live in the present, as you may not have a future."

Jace Summers is not your average high school boy, per se. He prefers being himself no matter what anyone else thinks about him, and he's proud of who he is. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all because that's how he comes off to a lot of people until you get to know him, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying with how he presents himself. Those seem like small things that could be easily overcome, however it's also their encounters in the halls or in classes that cause problems. By now it's just mutual hate that both boys are too stubborn to give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. Not at first, but with time. Read to find out what happens! (Also- it is a mystery to even me how long this story will be. I'll be posting chapters as I finish and we'll see how long it turns out to be.
