Preview:  Elsa has done many great things. She has become queen, saved her sister from marrying the wrong guy, and also helped to save the kingdom from....herself. She has also learned to control her powers more, and is now a well loved leader of Arendelle just like her parents had hoped.....But some things she still struggles with. Like how to know she's making the right choices as ruler, and should she follow her heart or in her parent's footsteps? But her biggest struggle, the one she let's no one see, the one she doesn't even like to let herself hope for....is the question "will I ever find a Love to call my own?" In this fan-fiction, we will go through Elsa's life together as she struggles to answer her tough questions about her life and the impact it will have on others around her. AUTHOR'S NOTE: My favorite thing about Frozen is Elsa's struggle with her powers and, of course, her relationship with her sister. Is it possible to recapture the feeling of the first film without being repetitive or redundant? I believe so, and this story represents that belief. In my mind, Elsa suffered from depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and I was convinced that the right (wrong?) set of circumstances could bring about a relapse. Such is the case with real world people who deal with these complex issues. This story explores the results when those circumstances occur. Although rife with drama and romance, it's also meant to be a mystery/thriller. I hope you enjoy! NOTE: The first draft of this story was completed and published in its entirety before Frozen II was even announced. Any similarities to the official sequel are purely coincidence.
