It is 2100, and the first Rare One since two hundred years is discovered in the city of Argonizeria in Zed.
Scarlett Kelly couldn't have had a more perfect life. Living almost problem-free, she'd had no personal experience with pain or loss. Everything changes one night.
All Seldoren wants is to keep his loved ones safe. He can't bear to relive the horror and pain of his past at the hands of the Trio, who are vampires, from the planet Van. Centuries ago, they forced him to be their slave and provide them human blood to take back to their planet. In particular, they seek the blood of a Rare One.
Scarlett sees herself as a prisoner after she is kidnapped. When her kidnapper says he means her no harm, she assumes he is playing cruel and cunning games with her... but she slowly discovers that nothing is what it seems.

She gasped and used the little strength she had left to turn around and look at the man, but certainly not a human one. Muscles rippled across every part of his toned body, nearly seven feet tall in height. His left arm, shoulder blade, and part of his rib cage were scattered with reptilian-like scales that almost appeared like diamonds that glistened in the sunlight. He had thick, pure white hair tied in a braid that laid across his muscular bare back, ending at his hips. He had prominent cheekbones and a well-defined chin and jaw. Beneath his brows, his lavender eyes were as direct as expected, not even blinking as much as the average person. Unfortunately, his haunting eyes landed on the small human, seemingly examining her shaking figure closely. His lips curved into a grin, revealing his dangerously sharp teeth. Realization dawned on her, he was going to eat her. Little did she know, he was actually going to marry her. • snippet • She pulled out of his hold and took a step back. "You want to use me." She rasped. His lavender eyes widened and he took a step towards her, making her take two back. "No, that's not-" Her chest heaved as her worst fear was coming to the light. "That's why you've been trying to win me over. You wanted to- to impregnate me! And... And now I'm here, naked in the water with you!" She snapped, hot tears gathering in her eyes. "Holy shit, I'm naked with you." She exasperated, like she just now realized what she's done. She's never felt more exposed and terrified in her life. She was completely vulnerable to him in that moment. He could pounce on her in a split second, have his was with her, and she wouldn't be able to stop him. There it was again. The sheer terror in her eyes, and it was directed at him. Will she survive the family feud she's been drawn into or will it consume her leaving nothing of her left? Will she find herself fixing a family that has been broken way before she was even born? Will her newly required thirst for blood devour the kind soul she has always been? Will she gain new friends on her way to control the abilities she has aquired from her transformation? Will she ever see her family again? Could she possibly find a love along the way that could heal her shattered heart making her stronger than she ever thought it possible for her to be? This book has been my pet project for years and I will not appreciate it if anyone trys stealing my work considering how I have all of the rough drafts written down on paper. I would be very angry in fact. Any drawings that might be shown will be mine. The book title came together with the help of my older brother who is quite good with titles while I am not great at figuring out book titles but am good at writing stories and chapter titles. The book title may be added on to in the future but only time will determine that. This is the first book of the series. Once again I would like to remind everyone the story is ALL MINE. To all my devoted readers it is my hope that all of you will enjoy my story.
