Far away in a small land called Zariya there was a girl named Lillian Harris who was all sorts of unlucky. After losing both of her parents in a tragic accident, Lillian was forced to become a parent to both of her younger siblings, Rose and Henry. Lillian knew there was no inheritance to save her from this catastrophic mess. Lillian was young but not stupid-she knew how badly her father was suffering due to monetary complications. She had no family left in Zariya to help her. She was alone. It was a nightmare come true. Being born in a world where one needed to be wed in order to survive didn't help her case either. Society was unfair and definitely not on her side. She was born in a world where love was obligatory. She was born in a world where men ruled and women listened. She was born in a world she hated. Then there was Nicholas Cobain. The only son and child of both King, Arthur Cobain and Queen, Eleanor Cobain. An heir and soon to be crowned.. Everyone knows a king needs a queen. Nicholas might not have any plans to marry but his father definitely does. What happens when word gets sent out that a prince is looking for a princess? And not just anyone, someone worthy to be queen. Someone to prove themselves worthy. A challenge amongst all women who dare to compete for a single crown and an entire kingdom. Could this be Lillian's gateway out of her impecunious state? Find out.

The Grove

Adler ascended his father's throne after the old bastard was deposed. He inherited a divided kingdom that has been committing genocide against its own people for generations. Adler feels inadequate to rule. The weight of it is unbearably heavy, he doesn't have the talent for it, and Adler feels like he's suffocating every minute of every day. When the entire kingdom shows up to the party in honor of the king's birthday, he's so overwhelmed that he tries to hide. Instead of refuge, he catches a thief in the act of stealing papers from him and his advisors. The thief is unapologetic, audacious, and most confusingly, flirtatious. She makes an odd promise to return to him shortly, then takes off into the night. The very next day, she appears in his rooms. He's baffled. "Want to help me stop a coup?", she asks with a playful smile. Adler falls for Ren almost immediately. He doesn't even try to deny it. Ren makes it very clear that she has no time for his feelings, but she might make an exception for his body. Her people are dying, and she's in the fight to end the genocide. Everything else comes second to the cause. She leads the king to a world that is and isn't part of their own. Revolution is rising up in The Grove.
