🌟 ONC 2021 LONGLIST QUALIFIER 🌟

This is my entry for The Open Novella Contest 2021.

I am using Prompt 72: You met the love of your life at a music festival, but after that weekend you never saw them again. Twenty years later, that changes. (I have made this where they meet in ten years as opposed to twenty.)

Adele Pickering loved music, so when her friend suggests they go to the biggest festival in their country, she doesn't hesitate.

Armed with her trusty wellie boots, her warmest coat, and a tent, Adele sets off to have a weekend filled with music, rain, and laughter.

She may have prepared for the weather, but she didn't prepare for Ted Hart, all six-foot, broad-shouldered and cheeky grins.

Adele and Ted share a weekend of romance, but forget to share numbers.

What happens when they are still thinking about each other ten years later, and a chance encounter reunites them?
