i still remember that night, i watch as the sign 'searching for partner' on my screen changed into 'connection established'. Mustering up all the courage I have for my entire existence just to finally let out a very nervous sound of "hello".
Little did i know, someone in the other end also gave his everything just to say a simple "hey".

a cliche story of how i coincidentally connect to someone that called himself JJK on an online website that pair total stranger for a chat. Just casually wasting the night talking without knowing or seeing each other. Then suddenly it became a habit, what supposed to be over and left on that website, turn into a regular conversation during midnight.

it all started as a coincidence that turned into a comfortable companion even though we both know in the end, we gotta let it go. Was it irony or serendipity? I don't really know. All I did was talking and listening, but i don't remember falling this deep.

"I don't care who you are. But why were you touching what's mine?" He gazed up at the moon, its radiant glow illuminating the night sky; yet still, it couldn't compare to the brilliance in his own eyes-something a voice from the past had once whispered. A pang of longing washed over him as he remembered the gentle tug at the hem of his shirt, the subtle reminder of connection and affection that had become all too rare. But now, in the stillness of the night, it dawned on him that he stood alone once more, the warmth of companionship replaced by an unsettling solitude. Just twelve seconds. That's all he needed from him-twelve fleeting seconds to feel something real once more. *** This was the tale of a notorious playboy, icy and indifferent, and the one who steadfastly refused to believe in the sincerity of his affections. But what if the truth about their past-a truth hidden in the shadows-came to light? Would that "someone" finally see past the façade and embrace the love laid bare before him? Or would he dismiss the playboy's heart once again, even in the face of revelations that could change everything? In the tension of their history, love hung by a delicate thread, flanked by doubt and longing. It was a fragile dance, one that would force them both to confront their feelings, unearthing scars as well as hopes hidden beneath the surface. Ultimately, it would take more than a mere acknowledgment of the past; it would require a leap of vulnerability, immense courage, and the audacity to believe in love once more. Would they take that leap together, or would fear keep them apart forever? +++ Content Warning This story contains strong language, explicit sexual content, mature themes and situations that may be disturbing or triggering to some readers. He was her stalker. But not the kind that lurked in the shadows with sinister intent. No, he was simply a man in love-too afraid to step forward, too hesitant to risk rejection. A silent observer, hopelessly drawn to the woman who had unknowingly become his entire world. To everyone else, he was intimidating. A towering figure wrapped in ink and muscle, exuding an unapproachable presence that made people steer clear. They never looked deeper. Never saw the quiet soul beneath the hardened exterior. Judgments were made the moment he entered a room, long before he even had the chance to speak. But she was different. She saw him. And more importantly-she liked being seen by him. If he thought he was going unnoticed, he was sorely mistaken. He wasn't a very good stalker-not by a long shot. She recognised his face, the way he lingered just far enough away to watch but never close enough to act. His clumsy attempts at remaining unseen were anything but stealthy, and truth be told, she found them utterly endearing. He wasn't frightening. He wasn't menacing. He was just a man, staring at her from the edges of his own fear, caught between longing and hesitation. But she wasn't going to make it easy for him. She wanted him to make the first move. She wanted him to prove to himself that he was brave enough to stand before her, to reach for what he so clearly desired. So, with a knowing glint in her eyes, she played along-her actions deliberate, her teasing methodical. She became a puzzle for him to solve, a challenge he couldn't ignore. And with each passing day, she felt the tension coil tighter between them, the invisible string drawing them closer. And really, if he ever wanted to harm her-which was laughable-he wouldn't stand a chance. The only thing he was a danger to was his own fear of losing her before he ever had the chance to claim her.
