The contract is clear-Lenara and Tharion will remain married until Lenara turns twenty-one, at which point they can choose to divorce. Lenara, the bastard child of her kingdom's royal bloodline, has always been seen as a political tool, rather than a person. As the wedding day draws near, Lenara feels the weight of their expectations pressing down on her. At only sixteen, she is thrust into the adult world of power struggles, her future determined by the marriage contract, not by love or choice.Complete
