Surviving Daions were absorbed harmoniously into Coalition populations. That's what Coalition history recorded. In reality plague survivors were abused, ostracized, and lately their descendants were disappearing - relatively unnoticed - from the sectors where they'd been assigned residence.
Right now war is whispering through every sector as political tensions rise between Coalition's Central Worlds and the Isolated Radicals. Half the galaxy away, seeking resources under the lie of peaceful exploration, Dockland is the oldest scanner ship in the Coalition fleet and has the long abandoned Daion Central World listed as one of their possible next assignments.
As leadership splinters into the highest ranks of the Coalition government, the events unfolding in the Daion sector have the potential to change the course set by history and possibly restore what was written off as a lost culture ... or see Dockland and its crew erased from having ever existed at all.
CONTENT WARNING: a large-scale terror attack is described, cultural repression is a theme, there is violence and resulting injuries described, a bit of flirting, kissing and romance occurs, and the war/battle mentality of some characters comes up. In the year 2050, as humanity reached the pinnacle of technological advancement, the United Nations launched the most ambitious initiative in human history. Under the supervision of NASA, the UN, and the enigmatic organization known as Pan Spatial, two powerful global coalitions were formed: UEC (United Earth Concord) and GDA (Global Defense Alliance). These were not just alliances of nations - they were humanity's last line of defense, created to protect Earth from threats far beyond the stars. For six years, the project thrived. Massive joint exercises, reminiscent of RIMPAC, became routine, and global cooperation ushered in an era of unprecedented peace and strength. But everything changed in 2056. During a large-scale naval operation in the Pacific Ocean, sensors detected an anomaly unlike anything recorded before. During the two years prior however Technology was to be proved as the downfall for several countries including U.S and China which had found themselves fighting for control over this one group. In the midst of the Combat the Contentinal Empire under the Rulership of Steven 1 has managed to push back the Allied forces with the help of a young and great strategic Leader known as "Frame". With his past and his history being a mystery "Frame" has been known to be one of the greatest Strategic minds since the famed Napoleon Bonaparte 1, leading victory after victory without a single loss. Azur lane: (IX-64) USS Wolverine
Humanity had a dream to Explore and conquer the oceans , But that all changed when an unknown enemy appeared known as the "Sirens" humans were pushed out of the Seas by the Sirens advanced weaponry and humanity began to descend into a Dark age. Siren attacks had become frequent enough that humans were on the Brink of annihilation. However one Day humanity found a way to fight back against the other worldly threats, using mysterious objects known as wisdom cubes, the K.A.N.S.E.N. were created from said cubes. With the power of Warships embedded into their bodies, they allowed humanity to fight Back against the Sirens and begin to reclaim what was once lost. But divisions in beliefs on how to deal with the Sirens, threaten to obscure the original threat they came together to fight and turn humanity and its protectors against each other, either caused by Siren influence or the actions and beliefs of major nations leaders, or a little bit of both, one thing is for certain. No matter when or where it happens.... War, War never changes. However sometimes all it takes is a small change somewhere, a Flap of the wings of a butterfly, an Action taken, or an Action not taken. The war with the covenant has driven humanity to the brink of extinction, the outer colony's have been glassed and the UNSC navy has been reduced to a fraction of what it once was. But there was hope, with the discovery of a forerunner relic that could turn ships into men with the full power of the ships themselves. This lead to the creation of several ships, one of them being the UNSC S/N. A Paris class heavy frigate, he along with the battle group he was apart of were out fighting the covenant who had also found a similar artifact, had been using sanghili ships to fight the UNSC. During one of these conflicts S/N was forced to make a jump with a damaged Slipspace drive, the result was that him and one of the covenants corvettes were pulled into a portal. Along with the new crew member they are ready to return to planet Nirvana. They know that it is important to report the General in for his actions to imprison Arian. As the crew is getting ready to go underway, they receive a distress signal from a ship not too far away from their coordinates. The Captain decides it's worth investigating and orders the ship to the destination. As the ship is heading to the coordinates how is the crew getting a long with it's new member? Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. 10,000 years in the future, humanity has long since inhabited a region of space simply known as the "Habitable Zone of the Milky Way," or simply the "Habitable Zone." Many advancements have been made, though many are irrelevant to the billions - or perhaps more - of souls scattered across space. Everything operates under the silent, vague, but present scrutiny of the gods, with thaumaturgic talents dominating many human cultures in some capacity. Churches reign over the post-Altarum territories a century after the Silence. The World, at least as far as many within the Habitable Zone are concerned, is a cold, thoughtless plane of existence. It is within a single vessel, known as the CSS Groundskeeper, do things begin to influence the "Things To Be," as labeled by followers of the pantheon. Within this ship, two individuals will face the beginning of what is to be unimaginable horrors within an unforgiving universe, both with the same goal: do not succumb to the darkness.
