During the Salem witch trials many people were accused of being witch and killed. Most of the witches did die but 9 families survived. Running to a new country and starting a new life. The 9 families hid there true identity's and there abilities from the world. Over time they rebuilt there coven and brought new generations to the world. To insure that they would no longer have to suffer the fear of human, with each coming generation they would be stronger than the one before. But as the world around them grew, so did the supernatural world. Soon they had more fears then just the humans. Vampires, werewolves, hybrids, and so many more. Everything that was just a myth became true.
