I wrote this when the episode first came out but I wasn't sure whether to post it or not. here we are...

This is my take on the scene in 5x03 when Betty tells Jughead about the kiss she and Archie shared.

I feel if I write it down, then I will be able to come to some sort of conclusion as to how I am feeling.

"I think I might know what happened, Jug." Betty relentlessly forces herself to open her eyes yet doesn't look at him, for fear that the confusion written on his face might make her back out.

No.

She needs to do this. She has to. For the sake of them. She will not allow their relationship to succumb to a lie. Their love deserved better than that.
