Remus Lupin works in Hagrid's Hut, the bar of preference for most queer people in the community and their straight companions. His friends Lily Evans and Marlene McKinnon visit him at work quite frankly to get - you guessed it - shitfaced.

Sirius Black is the drummer in a fairly popular band that plays in Hagrid's Hut quite regularly.. The lead singer is his best friend and roommate James Potter, the keyboard player is one of his ex schoolmates Frank Longbottom, on bass is yet another schoolmate named Dorcas Meadowes, and lastly the cello player was his childhood friend whom he desperately wanted to include, Peter Pettigrew.

After Lily and James drunkenly sleep together, the whole lot of them is stuck dealing with the consequences.
