Despite the horrible memories, he gets out and tries to meet other people where he not only see familiar faces, such as Shuichi and Kaito but also unfamiliar ones such as Chihiro, Sakura and much more. And him instead, Shuichi Saihara, The Ultimate Detective, is the one where everyone trusts and who thinks it will be their salvation to come out.
