Brooke vanderbeak has spent her whole life wishing to be free from her father. He's fine nothing but make her life miserable. So On her 20th birthday when her father announced that she is to be married to a man ten times her age. She's sees it has her chance to escape once and for all. She dresses herself as man, hiding her long hair in bun, and binding her chest. She figures her only worry is her father until she's stumbles upon the dark princes's land. His father mistakes her for a man he hired to protect the prince. So now she must hide her identity from a man who could so much as end her life.

Edward Duke or formally known as the dark prince, has had a horrible life. From being abused by his mother, to his father showing back up in his life after disappearing one day. Now he has to be under the watchful eye of a man. Feeling like a child he makes it his life's goal to ruin the poor mans life. When he Meets brooke, he knows there is something she- he is hiding he just can't quite figure it out yet.
