It was dark and stormy out, my wellies squelching in the puddles lying almost undisturbed except for the thundering raindrops splating on the dirt track. "AIEEE!" echoed from down the river bank beside me. Adrenaline coursed through my vains, I looked down into the rushing stream, Gulping down a quick breath of air I jump into the river. fuck. My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. At the end of all this - is he who we all think he is? Is he just a random online friend, a predator who failed at his plans, or someone beyond all of this...?
