Juan Carlos Ortiz always felt something odd about his life. Nothing made much sense. Not even his thoughts were bearable to process. His whole life, Juan Carlos ran away from what he knew and everyone attached to his webs of corruption. Never staying long to keep his head straight. It wasn't until he met Jax Teller and Chibs did Juan finally find a place in life. Even if the place held dishonesty, egotism, and jealousy.

For a while, Juan thought he found a home. Then, like a lone phantom, the unpleasant reality crept back into his life months after becoming a Prospect for SAMCRO. For a while, Juan began to question his existence and why things had to be this way. He missed his family (despite their distaste for him) and longed to be back in his home state. Juan only wished to be different in this chaotic universe.

Anything to mend his broken heart.

Then, unexpectedly, a woman turned his life upside down further after holding out a gentle hand. Nothing is simple in this life; including the search for peace and redemption.
