Kaminari Denki is a 21-year-old Marine biologist and engineer, fresh out of university and slapped straight into an incredible job. He was grouped with two other newbies and a few higher ups and set on a ship to try and find any evidence of any kind of merpeople civilisation out there after the merpeople disappeared off the face of the planet.
Hitoshi Shinso is a siren at the ripe age to find himself a mate. When he comes across a boat with land walkers swimming around under it, curiosity gets the better of him. He was drawn to one of the land walkers in particular and went straight for it...
(I'm sorry. this is my first fanfic and I'm terrible at descriptions, I promise that the actual story is better though yey)

Izuku was ten years old when he met Katsuki, aka a merman, that the Toshinori Aquarium Palace called Dynamight. As Izuku aged, the merman never left the back of his mind it was one of the reasons why he decided to become a marine biologist. He not only wanted to because of his love for salt and fresh water creatures but to study Katsuki's species. Merfolk were rare, and well, the more they talked, the more Izuku fell in love with the merman. Maybe he had always loved him.
