This is a mild slow burn in terms of some romance aspects but it will be a mature story 18+ eventually haha

Finding The Courage

AN: I will be trying to follow the books in regards to time line events however I will be using scenes or character descriptions from the movies as well. The first 24 parts are Divergent, then in the same book I will add Insurgent and maybe Allegiant I think I only get 200 chapters. Please let me know what you think leave comments and votes. ~ Adding a new twist to the infamous series Divergent by Veronica Roth ~ When Evelyn Johnson, mother of Tobias Eaton and wife of Marcus Eaton, fakes her death in order to escape the domestic abuse of her husband, she flees to the Factionless in hopes to find a haven. She's met with uncertainty and guardedness from the very people she used to support by providing basic survival supplies. Up until she reveals a secret that changes - and will change - everything: she's pregnant. She asks the Factionless for their help and they oblige out of sympathy once she recounts the trauma she went through. Astrid Johnson grows happily among the Factionless - she makes friends and feels included in the community, but her existence remains unknown to her father Marcus and her brother Tobias. Evelyn tells her their story and trains her from the earliest age to run, climb, fight, and also jump on and off moving trains. She raises Astrid with the idea that at age 16, she will join Dauntless and secretly look out for Tobias, whom Evelyn mostly lost sight of. Evelyn sees it as the only way to reconnect with her long-lost son, wishing he would join the boiling revolution among the Factionless. Except that obviously, things don't always go to plan. And infiltering the Dauntless under a false identity while under the terrifying scrutiny of Dauntless leaders is a near-suicide mission. ⚠️ TW: dark themes, such as domestic abuse, bullying, suicide, abusive authority figures, violence, drugs, sexual encounters... but graphic scenes are kept to a bare minimum to respect the tone of the original series ⚠️
The Journey
Based off the world of Divergent, which I do NOT own. Anything familiar is clearly not mine. Also, most images do not belong to me either. The rest is mine though, so please don't use it without my knowledge. Thank you. Factions now have royal families and the Factional Monarchy System (FMS) runs the world quite peacefully. Divergents are normal and a part of the FMS. Follow the story of Freya, the Princess of Dauntless, as she travels home to Dauntless Proper and in the process falls in love with the rough Eric Coulter. I'm terrible at this description thing.
