Distance was all that mattered at this moment in time. She wasn't stopping for anything , especially not because of a little rain . Her breath hitched for a moment as her path was blocked by another man that was following her. The only sure way to escape was to go up and on the roof. A smirk painted across her lips from underneath her cloth as she stepped backwards steadily into the darkness of an alley, it was acting like a cloak; completely engulfing her whole body like she wasn't even there.

The men, now in a group, huddled around the spot where she was last seen, frantically searching for any clues to where she might've sprung off too.

"How embarrassing," She chuckled softly, brushing herself down as she made her way across the roof of each house. She had successfully lost them.. again.

*Old Work* "Well, my family have a lot of great benders. Aang, Tenzin, Katara, Kya even my dad was a great firebender with an earthbender mom... I can't understand why I'm not destined to bend. If I have to be honest, it's all I've ever wanted to do. I too wanna make my family proud." I said letting all of that go, and I felt relief in my body. I've never opened up like that, especially not with people my age. "Wow, you're actually capable of saying more than four words." He said and we both laughed. I could see where he was coming from. I was never the one to be good with words. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bore you with the story of my life." I said already regretting how I had rambled just a few moments ago. "No, I'm glad you're finally opening up. It's nice to know the real you." He said and stopped up. I automatically stopped up myself and looked up at him. Into his mysterious eyes, holding more than I could ever be able to explain ************************************************ In this story we follow Kya's daughter, Naomi the nonbender. After Naomi's dad past away, everything has been difficult for her. Kya can't watch her own daughter feel this kind of hurt anymore, so she gets the idea of sending Naomi to Republic City. Where she can get away from all the hurtful memories, and live there with her uncle, his family and Naomi's childhood friend the amazing Avatar Korra. In Republic City, Naomi meets Korra's new friends, and she help Korra with her fight against Amon.

(Y/n) (L/n) is your average leaf village Shinobi. He's not from any special clan, has no special abilities, nothing special at all. All he has is his near perfect recollection and the ability to use all 5 nature transformations, the downside. His chakra levels suck, he's unable to increase it by any significant margin, but doesn't understand why. Maybe there's something holding him back, something personal? Well, things went south for him during the fourth ninja war. Amazingly, he managed to survive until the fight with the Ten-Tails. He wasn't able to survive the barrage of high speed wooden spikes, getting impaled and ultimately succumbing to his wounds, despite Ino's best efforts. However, he opened his eyes once again but he wasn't in a sea of clouds but rather a grassy field, tress, a river and........A HUGE METAL VILLAGE, THE FUCK?! He was reborn into another world, more advanced than his own with people who could control a single element without any hand signs. How will he adapt to this, how will he survive, and what will happen when he meets a tanned skinned girl who can bend all four? Was this an accident, sorry for his misfortune by a god, or was he brought here for a greater purpose? That's something he will have to find out.
