Anna splashed the warm water on her face, running her hands over her wet skin in attempts to set herself straight. "It was just a thought" she told herself, just an odd thought. Why get do rattled? It was exactly like Dr Jefferson had said: it was late, she had a hard day, that kind of situation coupled with a horror movie.. It was just a thought. Wiping her face with the towel on the counter she let out a sight. Feeling a bit more refreshed now. However, as soon as she removed the towel and saw her reflection.. "Did you brush your teeth?" An older woman came up to the doorway of the small bathroom where she felt like she were standing on something besides the tile floor. She had short hair and a white coat. "Yes momma." A younger voice smiled, causing the mother to cross her arms, "Let me see." not convinced and going to check the toothbrush of the girl. "Ok fine! I'll brush my teeth.." Her response was quick and a little annoyed, probably to keep from getting caught in a lie. The woman stood in the doorway to watch. Short blonde hair just reaching her shoulders, and a pair of cyan eyes looked back in the mirror with a much younger face. Disappearing just as soon as it had happened. "Aahah!" With a yelp Anna stepped back dropping the towel in the process, as sheer terror made it's way through her. Light, dark, weavers, Outcasts. It's all new to Anna, if that even is her name. After waking up with a blank slate of a mind, she has to not only relearn the ways of the world but also her own powers and what exactly it means to be "souless". They didn't hurt me but I had a feeling if I opened my eyes they would. I felt breathing down my spine. Chills and fear shook my whole body. I couldn't look but I wanted so badly to see and know what or who was behind me. A tear of fear slowly slid down my cheek. I gasped in a low voice when I felt a tongue lick it away. More tears started falling when I felt a clawed finger brush the salvia away. I whimpered when I heard it speak: "It's okay. I'm only here to protect you and help you." Lissie is being stalked and she does not know what to do or who to tell. She does not know what is following her. She's got to be dreaming but when the thing following her keeps stalking she realizes that this might not be a dream. But what is it? Where does it come from? Why follow her?Complete

The sensation is literally paralyzing. The feeling totally bypassing 'fight' or 'flee' and going straight to freeze. I feel like yacking up all that greasy food I had eaten during my shift at the diner. But I swallow the urge to do so and grit my teeth. Trust me, I wanted nothing more than to yack all over this pretentious douche. "Sorry kitten, not ever going to fucking happen." He said carelessly as he tightened his grip on the steering wheel. His eyes were fixed on the dark road ahead of us, the road I surely didn't want to die on. Before I could even finish forming a coherent thought, the car swerved hard to the side of the road and comes to a sudden stop, sending me flying into the dash. My forehead collides with the smooth leather of the dashboard. I hear him rustling around, but can't see much due to the black spots in my vision. You know, from literally eating the dash. I hear the sound of something popping open and then liquid being poured. "Tell me kitten," I hear him say slyly. "Does this smell like chloroform?" He chuckles as he reaches across the console to press a rag to my face. Emily Watts, twenty years old and living alone in LA, due to her parents being drunken assholes. This is a short story not a full blown novel it is my very first one so it is probably very bad but I do this for fun. I hope you enjoy it if not then I'm sorry. If I also made mistakes in the story which I probably did let me know so I may fix them and do better next time thank you. Mia is a freshman in high school. She is in the photography club at school. Mia is a great at taken photos she's always loved it since she was a little girl. One day she get's up enough money to buy a brand new camera. The camera works great for a while until one day some photos come out a little weird. After that Mia feels something is following her and it won't go away.
