This story is the difference between the here and now of what a real love story should be about, or aleast that's what he was always told in all the stories growing up as a normal young boy. Except for the fact he is a werewolf to a major werewolf family. The Hale family was a prominent and wealthy family. And Derek was the average kid with the only thing different between the other children and his childhood was his family's werewolf abilities and he apparently believed in the idea of, for every one In the world there was a mate for them to love forever and always.
