Nancy is having a boring time; no cases to solve, no mysteries to peep into. So when her friend George Fayne asks her and Bess Marvin to join her for trekking, she agrees. But mysteries will never let Nancy rest. Would she have to engage in a case in the mountains of Los Angeles as well?

Meanwhile, the Hardy Boys have been called by ATAC to solve a case in Los Angeles. Are Nancy's and Hardy Boy's cases related? Would they meet each other?

But the real question is, among all the suspects, Who is the criminal? How will the young detectives find the guilty, among a thousand other people who seem to be all a part of the game?
