Captain Parker Hawkins in the best officer in the king's royal navy. Bloody Jack, the son of Hecate, goddess of magic, uses the blood of his victims in a ritual to lengthen his life span by the length of the person's remaining life. The bloodless shell then becomes his mindless servant until he releases them to underworld. Hawkins has to figure out why Bloody Jack is building his crew and has to face the Blood King himself, but the scariest part is that she might require the help of Captain Braxton.
