Mizu is desperate.
Even though he farms rare plants in the sea, his family is poor because they always use the money on things like repairs, supplies and food. They need money, and a lot of it, to keep afloat. If he doesn't get that, then they'll have nowhere to stay.
Kitty is scared.
After being taken captive by the orcs, she doesn't exactly know what to do. Maybe they'll take her back to the kingdom that she ran away from. There's quite the bounty on her head, and evading the guards is her best chance to get away. When a random teenager gets thrown in with her, he convinces her to help him. Now she'll have to face her father's wrath when she gets back home.
The monsters keep coming.
Along with the weird actions of the people in the different kingdoms, monsters of all shapes and sizes seem to be chasing Mizu and Kitty, though they seem intent on simply Mizu. Now, on top of evading guards, they have to fight with these demons that just don't quite want to leave.
Neither of them expect the outcome.
When they get back to Kitty's home, the unexpected happens, and Mizu is thrust into an entirely different situation than what he thought. Now he doesn't know what to do as his life is on the line. When he finally makes a decision, he later realizes the mistakes that he now has to pay for.
Join Mizu and Kitty on this funny and amazing journey of twists and turns, running through rough terrains and fighting epic battles. The stakes keep getting higher with every step, and Mizu and Kitty have to navigate through them. Let the adventure begin!
Kaylie "Kea" Alton's life turned upside down when she found fairies in the forest behind her father's house. At the tender age of seven, she was given the task to take care of the forest and the magical creatures therein - to become the Keeper of Albinan. Things went well for twelve years. As soon as the thirteenth year came around, things started getting interesting.
With the appearance of a new creature from the lake, Kea and the rest of the creatures are wary. Something is happening, and when the creature starts talking gibberish about Atlantis and demonic inhabitation, she is forced to take him seriously. What she doesn't understand is why this creature of the lake is helping her and what he has to gain from it.
And what is going to happen as a result of this new threat.

A/N: If I were to give this book a rating, it would be a moderate PG-13. It is pretty violent (I mean, obviously, the demon wants to kill everything, so...), and there are instances of mild language and non-graphic "encounters," as it were. So consider yourself warned. ;) Thanks for reading!
