Elenwë is an elf. Well... half an elf to be exact.

She didn't always wonder who her parents were and where her special abilities came from. But more and more she wondered about her origin.

Raised in Rivendell, by none other than Lord Elrond, she suddenly found herself in the midst of events that were completely beyond her comprehension.

Elenwë decided to leave her home to follow the community of the Ring.

Will she survive this journey?

Will she finally discover who she is?

The universe of this story belongs to the fabulous JRR Tolkien, with the exception of the heroine.

Faylen Adwynn comes from a troubled past which landed her in Rivendell 10 years ago. She found a new family amongst the elves and trained, always staying within the borders and living a simple life. Then one night she gets news about something that will forever change her. Later a shadow begins to loom over Middle Earth and Faylen finds herself joining the Fellowship of the Ring with her newfound skills. As the adventure goes on, dangers and threats are around every corner as the group tries to get the one ring to Mordor. On this quest she also finds herself meeting a new friend, Legolas Greenleaf; never having a true friend before unless they were family. But will Faylen learn to trust and love despite her past still haunting her on this quest? Will her friendship turn into something more? And will she be able to do what her destiny wants her to go through without hurting others? *Disclaimer: I do not own Lord of the Rings or any of its characters. I did make several changes to the original story but did not mean any disrespect in doing so
