The year is 1928, scientists engineer a vaccine for a strange n' mysterious disease, but this vaccine accidentally rewrites the human genome and woke the spirits that lay dormant deep within people around the globe activating powers people never knew they had, which they refer to as "magic". While this cure didn't do what these scientists intended, it did change the world as we know it, giving the people in the world Gifts. Our story follows Reilly a prodigy when it comes to magic, born into wealthy descendants of the scientists in the 21st century. She is set to inherit her fathers' fortune, but little does she know the dark secrets her family holds.
