The woman receives a ransom note from the High Tower, saying that her sister was kidnapped and takes her leave, doing the many tasks that the High Tower assigned her. Her apprentice, on the other hand, struggles to keep the shop afloat, while balancing the struggles of not being able to visit home. Perhaps everything will balance out one day, perhaps not.
