Diana Lockhart's life is the very definition of pitiful.

Abandoned by her parents as a kid, Diana has been hopping from foster home to foster home, staying for only a little while at each one until she's inevitably kicked out when her caretakers find out that she's a certified freak.

Whenever Diana comes into direct contact with another person, she feels their death. And as if that wasn't enough to ruin her life, she also occasionally makes people explode whenever she loses her cool.

But after arriving at her latest and very last foster home, she finds out that she's not the only with issues.

A mysterious organization is tracking down people like her, and it's up to Diana and her new friends to stop them before all Mystics end up dead.
