Authors and Editors

{A story for Nanowrimo! Wish me luck!}

Desiree Jones was on the verge of banging her head on a wall. She was just about done dealing with the hipsters and stuck up patrons that frequented the many, many coffee shops she worked at in downtown Portland. But what could she do? No one seemed to be willing to hire an aspiring editor straight out of college. Especially not one with a masters in music.
Enter Benjamin White, the successful author of the Followers series blowing up the young adult fantasy scene. He was living the lap of luxury after the final installment of his first series. Benjamin only had one problem; his horrid nag of an editor. With a new book already in the works, he didn't think he could suffer through an entire saga with that woman. 
When this author in need of an editor, and editor in need of an author, find each other, sparks fly. What those sparks will light, however, is another matter ( a matter including love, perhaps?)
