Fighting fires had been the ultimate goal of hers ever since she was a kid. It wasn't the adrenaline or the risk of running into a blazing inferno that fueled her. It was the thought of giving others second chances. It's the drive to rescue those in need. Candidate Caddel may be the Candidate, but that is beyond her priorities. She doesn't have much of social life, or really any life outside her work. She doesn't even have a permanent placement. While she has plenty of years under her belt, she's worked in nearly every firehouse in the whole city of Chicago. She was always too caught up in her work to settle down and have a romance, or a hobby. She was always moving from house to house, so she never let herself get close to anybody. That was until she had the luck of being placed at Firehouse 51. The brothers and sisters between the walls welcomed her with open arms and slowly chiseled away at all the walls she had put up. Not to mention that a persistent Lieutenant with light brown hair got to her heart. *Disclaimer, I do not own One Chicago or any of its creations, I simply am just expressing my enjoyment of it through my fanfic!*
