The House of Silveria is known far and wide for its annual Spring Song celebrations, and Viraya is responsible for a big part of it. This year, the Karenys are their guests, including a formidable Capitán who has the gall to set his cap at her, a spinster well past her first score and ten.
Viraya must contend, too, with a pair of wildlings and their impeccably-lineaged older cousin, Heinregard, sent all the way from the mother-world of the Argentene.
Can she tame the 'savage' Karenys, keep the children away from her precious blossoms, and ensure a good showing?
---
Heinregard thought he wanted to come to Rogrovia for its famous Spring Song festival, but when he hears the voice of Clayten, Aunt Viraya's best tenor, he realises he's here for something else entirely. But he carries a troubling secret, one that he must hide from everyone, especially those who think he's the moon god personified. Can he risk letting down his guard this one time?

Once the unseen, forgotten son, Nicolas Matesscu now finds himself thrust into the unforgiving spotlight as the soon-to-be King of Dezna. But the weight of the crown is a mere shadow of the guilt that haunts him-the heavy burden of his family's sins and the accusations that threaten to destroy him. All eyes are now fixed on him, and he soon learns that being king is not about wielding power. It's about the survival of his people. Nicolas has inherited a throne soaked in blood and stained with insurmountable problems. An Elven army marches ever closer from the north, and the possibility of peace has long since evaporated. The kingdom's future rests on his shoulders-and he wasn't prepared for any of it. He never asked for this-he never wanted to bear the weight of a fractured kingdom. To survive, he must convince the lycan horde that he's worth sparing. In a world where weakness is a death sentence, he faces a brutal ultimatum: unite with the most unlikely allies or watch his kingdom-and everything he's ever known-be torn apart. Nicolas must rise from the shadows of his past to save his people. He must prove to his enemies and allies that he is not the broken prince they expect him to be. Survival will demand more than just political cunning. It will require strength from places he never imagined, alliances he never thought possible, and a future he never wanted but might have no choice but to accept. To unite a splintered kingdom and rise above his past mistakes, he must become the ruler no one ever believed he could be-or lose everything in the process.

Firstly, a huge thanks to my friend Sophia (@sopheyyis or @B1ashe) for drawing the cover. She is an amazing artist, go follow her on instagram and tik toc because she is the best. Warning: this is not for kids or people sensitive to triggers. I tend to write on the dark side, just so you know. There will be no smut, but there will be mentions of sex, abuse, abandonment, a little bit of swearing and this list could be updated as the story goes on. I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it. I will publish at least once a week Now with that out of the way, I just wanna say, hope ya enjoy the story. Have a great day and keep being your amazing you!
