Kara is a kind, caring, and funny girl that always gets taken advantage of. All of her "friends" use her to their own advantage and so she keeps away from people and focuses on her craft. Kara tries to be optimistic and thankful for her life, so she sucks it up thinking one day it will change. Surely enough it does on a rainy day on a bus. There she meets a boy that becomes her true friend.
Soon enough romantic feelings develop for one another, but does kara want to throw away her first real friendship for love? Will Kara give in to her feelings towards Hayden and trust him or continue to keep pushing people away.

It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong.
