This is my book of biographies.
But they are biographies on the forgotten people in history: Women, people of color, LGBTQ+, and other minorities. Because their stories deserved to get told. I will upload whenever the heck I feel like it, because biographies take a lot of time and research to fully capture the stories that need to be told.
NOTE: Mentions of sexism, rape, sexual assault, homophobia, transphobia. etc. I'll put specific warnings at the beginnings of each chapter when needed.
All sources will be listed in MLA format at the end of each chapter. Feel free to research these yourself

Although trans* visibility has only increased in recent years, it is not a new experience. Transgressing gender boundaries is not a fad. Trans* history is as diverse and far-reaching as human civilization. In this book I will explore gender nonconformity in early Western civilization. My focus will be on stories from Late Antiquity through the early Middle Ages in Europe. Before reading, please be aware that there have been a lot of negative attitudes directed towards gender variant people throughout history. Negativity does not negate our existence!
