Imagine, a big, abandoned brick building, like an asylum, you're at a playground and its midnight, your whole family is on a vacation but you BEGGED to stay home, so your parents let you. You kind of snuck out, but you know, your parents aren't home! (ik its the typical y/n shit but just play along 😭😭)
This is like a story to imagine yourself in the scenarii to kind of comfort you. If you like dark academia and if these things comfort you, I recommend this story to you: Stormy weather, midnight, books, being alone, silence, and have a weird addiction to those giant brick buildings 😭
Anyways, I hope y'all like the story, this is my first time writing a story so im sorry if its bad!

Uneasy Comfort.
So um this story may be on hold as I have lost interest and have no idea how to continue the story... . (Disclaimer, there is NO smut/inappropriate things, just cute and wholesome~♡ but warning, there may be some dark themes throughout.) . . This story is basically a sonic the hedghog fanfic. It's set in a dystopian reality. im still figuring out everyone's stories even the main plot. But I just go along as my mind pleases. The main 'object' that stirs this story is a plant, named the agony night floret, that infects living things. It was created accidentally in a facility by money hungry mobian scientists and main boss, scarlett the fox. she is the main 'villian', surprsingly not eggman lol. the agony night floret infects mobians, putting them in these stages. first a purple blue rash, then disconfiguration then having the chance to rott and turn into creepy lifeless zombie ish creatures, not hostile but really contagious. They roam around isolated areas. Or, they have the small chance by transforming into these cannibalistic 'flesh-gorgers', coming in different types, 3-4 times bigger than hosts/Mobians size. sonic and his friends travel firstly through the thick, white, winter forests, named 'Nobelwoods' in Nahada, trying to find the facility of where it all happened, while unexpectedly coming across a familiar haze of a huge mossy concrete structure of shadows old-old home. Burnt. It will be told why in the story. I have posted drawings of the characters/unfamiliar characters to understand better of what their appearances looks. thankz for reading this far if u have :) (I'm rambling abt the lore lol) . . . . I like inflicting pain. Not on others but on myself. Some people would call me depressed but I'm not. If anything the pain makes me happy. I started "self harming" at the mere age of nine. TRIGGER WARNING *SWEARING* Adventure begins here: 1100s/April 16th since the day I was born nobody cared about me. I was born extremely healthy but I wasn't all normal.... many would say abnormal in appearance. after being sent off the doctor's and nurses placed me in a dark room alone, they've swapped me out for a child who supposedly was "normal" to them. ever since that exact day I was desperate for revenge. locked away in the asylum for 13 years, I became a common attraction I suppose you could call it, personally I found it a repeating nightmare. outsiders clocked in just to see me then clock out over and over till one day I finally had enough. planning to break out I left through my wards closed off window into the outside world alone. disguising myself amongst the commoners roaming the streets and alleyways searching for food and other supplies that could be of use. while searching I come across this building when I realized the horror's that lurked beneath its surface leaving me unprepared for the after math of destruction.
