When Lt. Commander Data nearly sacrifices himself to save Lt. Yar from a creature that is the embodiment of pure evil, she discovers that feelings she thought she had buried aren't so far below the surface.

As for Data, he is increasingly occupied with what may be his very first feelings of emotions as he works to save the Enterprise and ultimately, win the heart of Tasha Yar.

Jim Kirk gets shot by an automated weapon while on an away misson. Instead of injuring or killing him, it deages him. Now Spock and McCoy have to try and fix it, all while caring for 4 year old Jim. This is made harder by the fact that he is terrified of everyone but Spock. The more they watch and listen, the more Spock and McCoy want to find Winona Kirk and make her just as afraid as she has made her son. There is a brief nudity scene in the last chapter. All characters involved in said scene are adults. There are some sexual terms used. However, I do not believe it is enough to change the rating to mature.

Tasha's always been there for him - through the loss of K'Ehelyr, raising Alexander alone, and the loss of Jadzia. Only, she's grown tired of being Worf's fallback. What Tasha doesn't know is that Worf has always been afraid of his feelings for her. Because everytime Worf's allowed himself to get close to someone, they've died. He almost lost Tasha on Vagra II. He did lose K'Ehelyr and then Jadzia. Worf is determined not to lose her too.
