Alexandra has never even heard of a shadow world when her grandmother mentions this in one of her many contradictory musings. Captivated by the light of the full moon, Alexandra feels herself compelled to venture out at night. Upon discovery of a mysterious stairway, she descends into the world of shadows from where only the few return.
