Everyone in town knows about the sea monster.

Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them.

Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster.

He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane.

They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him.

Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace.

So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to!

(I don't own any of the characters or art work that appears in this fanfic. All of the characters belong to Rick Riordan.)

With the currents and the motions, it was hard for someone to feel otherwise. The people of the sea, more commonly known as Mer-People, were a peaceful clan. King Poseidon was a kind man, ruling over all with his heir and son, Perseus. He kept order. He kept peace. That was until a single Mer-Person went astray. She dreamed too big. She was too ambitious. "Let me prove to you I am unlike them." Thousands of years ago, there was a faraway land called Oceanum Collis. Many different people lived among each other in peace. Elves, mermaids, werewolves, and humans. After fighting hundreds of wars, the people came to a compromise and started to work together. Realms were united and civilization was born. Oceanum Collis was beautiful and peaceful, but with light comes darkness. The humans felt left out. While the others had magic and great strengths, they were nothing special. A young man, Basil Adelio, found that humans deserved more than to be farmers. But there was more to his plan. He was after the throne, so he could rule all over Oceanum Collis. Together, the magical creatures were able to stop him. The humans left the lands, leaving behind everything they had built. The alliance between the four people was broken. The elves and mermaids tried to rebuild their alliance, but without the werewolves it was impossible. And so the three different people parted, hardly talking to one another ever again. Now, one hundred years later, a new realm has been created. It was separated from the other realms by a large wall. A new leader has risen from the shadows. He believed that the outside world was filled with dangerous things. So, he made sure everyone stayed within the walls of the empire. And those who didn't were never heard of again. As others always looked away, a young man called Orlando, always glanced beyond the wall. One day, he's able to see what's behind the wall for himself instead of hearing stories. A new world lies ahead of him, but it might not be as beautiful as he had hoped. A/n: Hey guys! So this is an original story. Please, do not copy the story or use my characters without my permission. I've taken a long time to set this all up. Thank you! And love you all! -Jay25211💜💜

A Percabeth [AU] songfic and fanfic based on the song "Symphony". "'I've been hearing symphonies Before all I heard was silence A rhapsody for you and me And every melody is timeless...' Percy pulled off his headphones. He sighed. That song... that song had been playing that day... the last day they were together. He was 13. And she was there. He tried to get back to his homework, but the algebra just couldn't get into his head cause all he could think about was her. Messy blond hair, scrunched up nose ... he remembered every single detail. And those eyes... those thundercloud sparkling grey eyes... he'd never ever forget her. Annabeth." They are NOT demigods Other ships included -Jasper, Solangelo... (ummm... no Caleo sorry! [Ido ship it]) Oh and yep , unlike most other Percabeth fanfics this will NOT include Perachel. **no mature content just fyi... I'm 13!** Hope you like it!🤞🏽 * I don't own the characters, Rick Riordan does. I only own the plot. **** The cover is made by @notscarlet- and it's really amazhang **** Also I can't swear on the Styx that I'll finish the fanfic cause I don't really have a clear plan ahead... just a very very very vague idea. Decades. He'd wasted decades of his life doing what? Chasing the minuscule sparks of passion to ease the aching void in his chest? Wasn't there something better? Someone to guide him away from the misery? Distract him from the life he couldn't escape from? There were days he didn't know which way was up and where the sea began. Where the skies collided with the dirt and delved into the inferno of the hells. The whispers of creatures that should have had no interest in a mortal caressing the shell of his ears. Beings he believed to be just as mortal as himself and if one observed their flaws they might have been. Walking the city grounds and sailing the oceans as easily as anyone. Blockades of fire and ice prevented their hands from intertwining. Now he balanced atop the wall. Grabbing both with shaky arms and keeping them close. Please don't leave. Fangs and claws used to claim him. Gentle kisses and caresses to calm him. Breathless words pulled him deeper into the madness. Further into inky darkness speckled with blinding light. Granting him everything he never knew he'd wanted. A dream come reality. Strange how love could spark from pain. How fickle. And how much he only wanted more. ((Heelloooo, thanks for clicking. :3 Its been quite a bit since I've written anything but I wanted to try something new. Been into making my own novels and stories and this ones an au based around the chars of my current works. This is gonna be a m/m story. Well theres three of them but who doesnt love a love triangle. Hope ya'll enjoy my for funzies story with love, heartbreak, and gay ass sex. At least weekly updates but possibly more often. We shall see haha. Feel free to ask questions or comment your thoughts, I love those Now, quick warning that there are dark themes involved in this story including manipulation, power dynamics, and dubious consent. Those chapters can be skippable without losing too much plot but I'm warning in advance that viewer discretion is advised.))
