Book 1 in the Nevermore Trilogy

When 5 year old Kiara Grimm witnesses her family's mass murder she swears she'll get her revenge. 12 years on, Kiara is a 17 year old girl living in an orphanage, her only possession, a little silver mirror. When she finds out the mirror is a secret doorway to a magical land called Nevermore, she doesn't know what to think. Then along comes a mysterious blue eyed boy and a giant wolf man. Kiara, scared and confused, finds out the fairy tales she once knew and hated are not the same as in the story books....

From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die.
